Goudse Expat Package
A modular insurance package for people who live and work abroad temporarily, and their families. You choose the modules and the level of cover you need.
Who is it for?
For anyone working abroad for a Dutch or foreign employer or as a self-employed professional, and for students aged 18 and over. Your partner and children up to 21 can be insured too. You can join from age 18 up to and including 60, and the cover can continue up to age 72.
Modules
- Medical expenses in three levels: Standard, Optimal and Excellent, up to € 2,000,000 per claim. Choose an annual excess of € 0, € 250, € 500, € 1,000 or € 2,500 (regions C and D).
- SOS assistance (mandatory with medical cover): 24/7 emergency centre, medical evacuation and repatriation.
- Personal liability up to € 500,000, € 1 million or € 1.5 million per event.
- Contents for your belongings in your home abroad, including valuables and tenant's liability.
- Accidents, dental, legal assistance and travel baggage and cancellation.
- Disability insurance, premium on request.

Premium
The 2026 annual premium for medical expenses depends on age group, region, level of cover and excess. Insurance tax of 21% applies to SOS assistance, liability, contents, legal assistance and travel baggage; medical, dental and accident cover are exempt. The policy year runs from 1 January; in the first year you pay pro rata.
